Environmental Justice

For many of us in The Salvation Army, we are quite familiar with our Emergency Disaster Services.

Because of this ministry we cannot deny that climate change is real – it’s difficult to keep track of which disasters we are responding to at any given time, and just as one response wraps up, it seems as though teams are being called to pull together to help another community.

As the Center for Social Justice and City Mission, we believe that God has placed responsibility for caring for His creation in our hands.

We must take action, small and big steps, to protect His creation.
